Terms & Conditions

To avoid any misunderstandings regarding reservations, the following are our terms and conditions. By choosing Tau Hogroast as your caterers, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

Booking Confirmation

All bookings are considered provisional until the receipt of the deposit. If there are several booking request for a certain date, the bookings will be handled on a first come first serve based on when the deposit was paid.

Deposits and Payments

A deposit of 25% of the final price is expected to make a firm booking. The deposit is non-refundable.
The outstanding balance is to be paid on the day of the function.
Tau hogroast reserves the right to require full payment on the day the services are rendered.

Function Amendments

5 days prior to the function no changes will be accepted, this includes:
- catering numbers
- food changes
- final details on timing (start & finish)
- special instructions

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 3 days prior to your function will incur the full cost

Postponement Policy

In the event of a postponement of a function (within 5 days of the function) the initial 25% deposit paid may be transferred to another date booked within four months.

Public Liability

To protect ourselves against any 3rd Party Claims, Tau Hogroast has obtained Full Public Liability insurance.

General Liability

We do not accept liability for any failure to provide the service contracted which are due to circumstances beyond our control, including electricity and water failures.

Traveling to/from Venue

Travel will be measured from Dun Laoghaire, Dublin and will be charged at 40c per km.
At Tau Hogroast we always aim to beat the traffic through early departure from our premises in Dublin. If however we should be held up in traffic we cannot be held responsible if the service is not delivered on time.

Venue Space

Please note and check our roast machinery specifications to ensure the machine will fit your chosen venue.

We require a work area of 3m x 3m area for jobs done outside.

If there is no direct access to the garden, our special gas roast machinery dimensions are as follow which need to fit through doors:

width – 740 mm
length - 1770 mm
height - 740 mm

Cutlery and Crockery

In general, Tau Hogroast doesn’t supply cutlery or crockery nor any additional hired items. But we can assist and or provide you with the necessary hired items on request which will be charged accordingly.
