What a day and what an event!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Tau Hogroast you supplied for us following Scott and Charlie's wedding. It was the perfect round off for everyone, especially with so many nationalities involved, after the formalities of the wedding the previous day - so relaxing, so friendly and soooooooo tasty! I am not a meat lover at all, but have to admit that I was blown away by the flavours of the hog roast and loved the overall South African flavour to everything - even down to the decor! None of our guests had experienced anything quite like it before - I think they were mostly expecting a few burgers or sausages, so what a surprise it all proved to be! You were both such fun, so professional and knew exactly what you were doing. Thank you once again.

We were lucky to be able to book Tau Hog Roast for a BBQ on the 2nd day of our wedding and hands down it totally made the day.
Not only was it something a little different, but it was a real talking point and generated huge interest (and hunger) during the day as it was being cooked.
The flavour was better than anything I'd tasted and we cannot wait to make another booking.
Initially, the hotel weren't too keen on an external contractor coming it to supply the food, but we were able to work out a deal and delighted that we could do so.
The hotel were even so impressed that they now want to offer Tau Hog Roast to others in future!
Can't wait to taste it again !

With just reading your e-mail i must appoligise for not sending my comments of ourselves and our guests for the First Holy Communion Party, that was done on 15/5/10 at our house in Ongar Park, Dublin 15.
From our 1st consultation to the actual day was months in advance and exactley what we had discussed for our menu,was delivered not just too satisfaction,but a feast that was fit for a king.With a lot of our guests not even being the "BBQ type" it was going to be a challange for us to pull a function for 40 guests and 21 kids at the best of times.
With this as arranged Tauhogroast was in and set up by time we even got home from the mass which is required due to the cooking time required for our lamb,their gazebo was up the lamb rosting and soon after the guests arrived a lot of very enquisitive minds and tastebuds being teased by the delicious smell of veges cooking and the roast been flamed,salads being prepared freshly in front of us,truely made us feel like for one"we are the JONSES".
We had not one upset guest and on many occasions during the day and on leaving the compliments that were recieved for what we had done was truely meant to be for the praise of TAUHOG for they were the ones whom delivered a spectacular day with excellence,ettiquette,price,products and the extra (s)mile.
Our true thanks goes out to yourselves for making our day a truely remarakable memory and look foreward to our next function to use TAUHOGROAST.

Thank you very much indeed for a truly excellent meal at our combo (21st/50th/60th/85th/100th) birthday party in the Wicklow Gaol last month. By some miracle you even brought a touch of South African weather with you! The roast was done so well that people hovered around just for the aroma. Everything was done to perfection including the vegetables. Consequently so many people queued up more than once that we would easily have consumed another pig.
People who had experienced a hog roast previously, commented on how tasty the preparation and basting made this one so outstanding.
A first class service!

Last Friday was a special occasion for me in celebrating my 40th Birthday with family and friends, the food & service provided by yourselves was absolutely fantastic & beyond expectations. Everyone at the party was so impressed with the set up, what you don't realise initially when you book yourselves is that you have two professionals at your service on-site for 8-9 hours taking care of everything, the spit roast pig was far from being just a novel idea & the taste was amazing, our guests raved for days after about the food and service and the evening was a resounding success.

Tau Hogoast was recommended to me by a friend for my birthday as an
alternative to doing a bbq. I chose the hog roast and it was a great
success, there was barely enough for two sandwiches the next day!
Having the hog on the spit was a big attraction with regards everyone
talking about it and 'checking it out'.... or maybe that was the
caterer ha ha! It was a great success and everyone is still talking
about how amazing the food was.

Tauhogroast caterer for a my wifes birthday party at home in July.The party was attended by 120 people of which 110 people ate. Not only was I delighted by the standard of food and service, but more importantly so were our guests. They came and they fed everyone and left with a minimum of fuss, and left the area they had used spotless. They did a fantastic job and were genuinly nice guys who added to the atmosphere of the party.

We hired the boys for a family fun day for Skerries Town Football Club. They were catering to over 400 people and we received numerous complements on not only the food and service, but also the way it was delivered. Dear Riaan,
We had a fantastic day at our second son's naming day ceremony held in our backyard and were glad that you and Tauhogroast were part of it. As an Australian I barbeque whenever the weather permits but after spending four hours at my first son's naming day celebrations slaving over two barbeques I was able to enjoy the day's celebrations from the other side by having you look after the cooking of the meat.
Your early arrival and no fuss set up on the day (including assisting us with building our own wet weather shelters) was super. The lamb was top class and cooked to mouth watering perfection with any left over meat catering for a second helping late into the evening.
For anyone planning a party / function and thinking of doing your own food, forget it. Get Tauhogroast in, sit back and enjoy the party you are hosting with one of the major logistics taken care of by professionals.

The belgrave square residents association in monkstown co. dublin held a party on friday june 12th 2009. Tauhogroast catered. We had a most wonderful evening. not only that but the aroma of the cooking throughout the day brought 'nosey' neighbours out to investigate. We had about 350 people at this party. All were well fed and thoroughly enjoyed the food. All the feedback from the guests has been nothing but good.

Once we had decided to have a pig roast for our birthday party I did plenty of research on-line and Tau Hog Roast quickly emerged as the front runner. And we were not disappointed!
The service was fantastic, and the food was amazing. All our guests, adults and children, were delighted, and we all had a brilliant time.
Loads of my friends now want to book Tau Hog Roast as well – and my only worry is that now they’ll be booked up when I want them again!!!
